ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

aiming to make Cheltenham one of the cleanest towns in Britain
The Don’t Rubbish Cheltenham campaign was launched in May 2002 to tackle the growing problem of litter.
The campaign is run by the Tidy Cheltenham Group, a voluntary organisation.
The need for urgent action was prompted by a council survey that showed nearly half the population was unhappy about the amount of litter and rubbish dropped in the town’s streets and parks.
